Does your employer actively promote and prioritize sustainability practices as well as community involvement?

Are you looking for opportunities to engage in hands-on activities that make a real difference?

Join forces with your team members to make a positive impact on both people and the planet! Together, let's forge unforgettable experiences filled with purpose and fulfillment.

Come and spend an enriching day at Wild Mountains wildlife refuge where you can actively participate in landcare, rainforest repair, and facility maintenance. Depending on your requirements, we can also incorporate wellness activities to help connect with Nature.

Not only will you make progress towards your CSR goals, but you will also have the opportunity to strengthen bonds within your team while making a positive impact on both people and the planet.

To cover preparation, training and supervision costs, we charge a program fee of $1,250+GST per day*.

We currently offer corporate volunteering for up to 25 volunteers. Larger numbers may be able to be accommodated with notice.

  • Sure! Check out our page on individual volunteering.

    1. Hear the story of Wild Mountains and how we help people and our planet.

    2. Tour our facilities and grounds. Our buildings are made from recycled materials, and we live completely off the grid. Afterwards we’ll take you for a short hike to the giant strangler fig.

    3. Roll your shirt sleeves up (with the sounds of nature in the background) while we get stuck into some landcare, rainforest repair, or building maintenance!

    4. Break for lunch –either BYO or we can cater for you.

    5. Finish your tasks for the day and celebrate the achievement of your team’s efforts with group photos and plenty of high-fives!

  • To cover set up, training and supervision costs, we charge a program fee of $1,250+GST per day.

Please note that payments for our corporate volunteering days are non-refundable. Should your plans change, we will do our best to accommodate a change of date (up to 2 changes) if an alternative date is available.

You are also more than welcome to make an additional donation if you would like to.

  • With some notice, we can accomodate most days, as long as we aren’t running any other programmes.

It’s bet to get here as early as possible (8:45 am), especially if you need help ferrying people up the mountain in our 4WD vehicles. We usually finish around 4 pm.

  • Feel free to bring your own favorites, or let us take care of the menu for you! At Wild Mountains, we’re proud to offer a vegetarian experience that encourages our community to explore diverse and sustainable dining options. We’ve got you covered from breakfast to dinner, and we’ll happily accommodate gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free diets. If you have any food allergies or specific dietary needs, just let us know in advance, and we’ll make sure you have delicious choices waiting for you!

Catering will attract an additional fee.

  • Up to 25 volunteers is a great team size for us. If you have a larger group we should talk first!

  • Once you’re booked in we’ll reach out with all the details of what to wear and items you can bring on the day. Essentially you want to protect yourself from the sun, as we’ll be outdoors as much as the weather allows.

  • We’re situated on a 230-acre property in the Queensland Border Ranges, west of the Gold Coast. The nearest towns are Rathdowney and Beaudesert. For a map, see our contact us page.
