Corporate Giving

Corporate volunteering provides your company with an opportunity to tell a richer story about your brand, while developing staff skills, bolstering your team, and making a difference in the community by nurturing a not-for-profit partner.

Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is simple and effective. You and your colleagues can elect to make regular donations from your pre-tax salary.

Corporate Donations

Corporate, tax deductible, donations are appreciated. You can choose to support a particular area that you are passionate about.

Sponsor Rainforest Repair

This option combines donating both time and money. Over a period of five years work with us to rebuild and repair a patch of rainforest. You’ll be able to visibily see the impact you make as you work to remove invasive weeds and plant back rainforest species.

Volunteer Days

Do you believe in a sustainable future and encourage giving back to the communities where you live and work? Would your team benefit from being involved in a hands-on activity with real impact? Experience a rewarding and impactful day with your workplace at Wild Mountains, and meet your organisation’s CSR goals, re-energise your team!

Our remote location ensures no distractions while you work on your annual strategy or other off site agenda. Alternatively, we can arrange wellness activities that rejuvenate and help your team connect with nature. Or even do both, enhancing bigger picture thinking.

Consult your staff

Success will depend on the level of staff participation. Check in with your staff during the initial planning phases to frame the programme in way that is attractive to them. If they feel invovled and part of the decision making process, they’re more likely to embrace and support it.

Understand what motivates your staff members to be involved. They could be attracted to the perceived worthiness of the cuase, and also to the chance to develop skills, build confidence, try something new, and to have fun with colleages outside of the office.

Nurture and Recognition

Don’t mandate involvment, as volunteering is an act of freewill. Instead make the opportunities attractive and varied. You can profile staff who have volunteered through your internal communication channels, and use company champions to promote the benefits of volunteering. Promote opportunities through a range of channels such as cards in the kitchen/tea room, notes in payslips, posters, and fliers. You may also considering inviting family and friends to incusive activities.

You may choose to have an internal award or recognition scheme. Check with your staff members first, as some might prefer not to receive public recognition or feel that the focus should be on the not-for-profit rather than themselves. You could consider a personal thank you note from the CEO to all volunteers. Alternatively you could organise a day of celebration for your volunteers, maybe aligning with national volunteer week (May 20 to 26).
