For over 25 years, Wild Mountains has dedicated itself to the mission of educating young individuals by immersing them in nature, sparking transformative shifts in their perspectives and life experiences. Your generous contributions enable us to execute an integrated programme of science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground landcare.

  • The main purpose of Wild Mountains is to provide environmental education programs for young people (10 – 16 years of age) to understand the interconnectedness of our planet's resources and our actions. We run residential camps for Southeast Qld and Northern NSW schools throughout the year, as well as offering a range of other programs for university and international students, and workshops for local groups. Volunteers also contribute significantly to Wild Mountains through monthly volunteer weekends. You can read more about on the Our Story page.
